The Polyphonic Spree Wants You
Here’s an article about a new album from the symphonic pop alternative rock band The Polyphonic Spree with a positive message:
Paste Magazine :: Feature :: The Polyphonic Spree Wants You :: Enlist Now (Page 1)
If you want to check out their website, you will hear samples of their music, and they have lots of stuff to click on and look at.
To me, they sound happy, peppy, and kind of like The Beatles meets early Genesis meets 60’s psychedelic symphonic pop rock.
For a quick bio, here’s the link to the Polyphonic Spree Wikipedia page.
Here’s the link for the Polyphonic Spree MySpace page.
On Dr. David Hawkins’ logarithmic Consciousness Scale of zero to 1000, the album “The Fragile Army” overall calibrates at 377. The track that calibrates the highest (at 412) is track 9, “Section 29 [Light To Follow]”. The track that calibrates the lowest is track 3 (at 268), “Section 23 [Get Up And Go].”
This music won’t take you to Enlightenment, but if you are looking for music with Integrity = some “positive” symphonic-pop-alternative-rock with an overall happy message, check out The Polyphonic Spree.
I’ve included an Amazon Link to Polyphonic Spree’s latest album, “The Fragile Army“.
Thank you.
