On Saturday, January 26th, 2008, I was one of a few hundred fortunate people to experience Dr. David Hawkins live at a one-day seminar in Prescott, Arizona.
It was an amazing educational and spiritual experience.
Dr. Hawkins presentation in the morning was regarding Reason and Faith and Spirituality.
In the afternoon, Dr. Hawkins discussed the emotion of Guilt and relationships, and then answered questions from students for about 2 hours
I was fortunate enough to be the first person in line to ask a question.
Of course, I asked Dr. Hawkins for some tips regarding my Intention to produce Consciousness Music that would be beneficial and uplifting to mankind.
I will post the question and answer here, as soon as I get the audio CD and DVD back from Veritas Publishing.
At the end of the day, Dr. Hawkins did a prayer and a blessing for the entire room.
It was an amazing spiritual experience for all, and most in the room were crying, including myself.
I am looking forward to returning to Arizona later this year for more direct experiences with Dr. Hawkins.

Thoughts with a tooth brush.
I was talking to an atheist recently who was sure there is no God in this universe.
I had never had this thought before, but I realized that knowing there is no God is perhaps as foolish as knowing there is one.
The fact is we can’t know.
I thought I heard it put best in the movie, "What The Bleep Do We Know?"
One of the points of the movie is to observe how close science and mysticism have become.
Many physicists were interviewed and in this "post-Quantum" era they are making declarations that are more and more in alignment with what the ascetic poets and yogis said a thousand years ago.
Towards the end [of the movie] one physicist said "We have about as much chance of understanding God as a fish has of understanding the ocean he’s swimming in."
Boy, that hit me like an anvil!
Of course!
How could finite beings understand the infinite?
How could one drop of an ocean conceive of the entire ocean?
Ah, but one drop of ocean can merge with the ocean.
It can do nothing else.
We can not understand the God we speak of, but we can merge with Him/Her/It.
This is the incredible aspect of being human.
All other animals are naturally aligned with nature, and play their part.
Humans have the intellect and choice of whether to merge with that ocean we call God, or be a single drop, left alone to evaporate.
But that wasn’t really the point of my story.
While brushing my teeth (when most of my good ideas occur), it occurred to me that the avowed atheist I was talking to would be in total harmony with certain spiritual paths.
In the path of Yoga, a great being, Swami Muktananda has told his disciples, "Meditate on your own self. Worship your own self. God dwells in you as you."
I suddenly realized that the atheists’ claim that there is no god, just us, is in agreement with the statement "God dwells in you as you."
I guess the only difference is that if we know we are God, if we worship at the temple of our body and our mind, if we worship at the alter deep inside our soul, we will bloom into our full potential as loving, creative beings.

Following Tom Kenyon’s five day Sound Healing Intensive Training, I had the pleasure of sitting down with music and sound healing artist Nadama, producer and co-owner of Malimba records.
Nadama and I had actually worked together in one of our Sound Healing groups during the training. He has a nice voice, and I could tell that he was a trained musician.
When we sat down Sunday afternoon following the training, we talked for over an hour, and I wish I had recorded the conversation. Neither one of us knew we would have such a great connection!
Nadama founded the Malimba record label with Shastro after a chance meeting in India. "We had both been to this Ashram in the past, but on separate occasions. Shastro was in the music area playing, and I just went in to check out the keyboard. The next you know, we were both playing along with each other! So we actually met through the language of music before we even knew each other’s names."
Nadama and Shastro had such a great connection, Nadama moved to Hawaii, and they started the record label. That was eight years ago. Now Nadama has six albums/CD’s and they have 27 total albums on the Malimba label.
With regards to Consciousness Music, it’s obvious that Nadama has the intention of producing music that is not only relaxing for the listener, but also beneficial and uplifting. "People sometimes say, ‘Oh, that’s elevator music’, and I say, ‘yes, it’s elevating’.
"Regarding the music that I create, I like to imagine it as a space where people can connect with their hearts and disappear more into the sounds - a space where the listener can relax into his being and experience his own love and inner silence."
With titles such as "Healing Touch", "Love Is", "Reiki Offering", "Zen Notes", and "Yoga World", Nadama is really putting himself out there and making a statement with his music. From being in this man’s presence, one can sense that this isn’t just marketing hype to sell more records; Nadama is a man of honesty and integrity, and comes from his heart.
"Enjoyment is no longer the criteria" when writing, creating, and producing a record, says Nadama. Intention behind what is being created is now just as important. "Most musicians aren’t thinking. It’s just about their personal expression."
"Now, music can be more intentional, and can be created, produced, and used as a tool for transformation. It can deepen our own personal meditation and experience."
With regards to Music and Sound Healing, Nadama says, "the whole subject of healing is emerging. The healing world is exploding. It’s about balance between the masculine and the feminine; they are both needed. There’s a big need for balance with music also."
Consciousness Calibration Research Technique: on Dr. David Hawkins’ logarithmic Consciousness Scale of zero to 1000, Nadama’s body of work at Malimba records calibrates at 498. This is the level of Excellence, and has an extremely high degree of Spiritual Integrity.
Considering the overall level of consciousness of mankind is currently at 205 (as per Dr. Hawkins, August 2006), Nadama’s body of work at Malimba records benefits the entire population of humanity. To be specific, by Nadama being fully who he is, and expressing himself in this way, approximately 96% of the population of humanity benefits from his records/albums/CD’s = by virtue of the power of the field of consciousness that is being expressed.

On Tuesday, July 17th, 2007, tens of thousands of people all over the planet participated in the "Fire the Grid" Project meditation.
Artists Anael and Bradfield contributed three free mp3 downloads for the "Fire the Grid" meditation.
On Dr. David Hawkins’ logarithmic Consciousness Scale of zero to 1000, these three songs proved to have a high degree of positive Spiritual energy.
"Sky Sent" calibrates at 495; "Heaven and Earth Spirits" calibrates at 496; this is the domain of Excellence.

On Tuesday night, I had the pleasure of seeing Jon Anderson at The Chance Theatre in Poughkeepsie, NY.
He was performing the music of YES with Paul Green’s School of Rock All-Stars.
Jon has had a message of love, light, and higher consciousness throughout his career.
Many are aware of the positive and uplifting spiritual messages in his musical works.
“I wrote . . . ‘The Buddha Song’ . . . which talks about Buddha, Mohammed, Krishna, and Jesus. The song’s message is the same as those I wrote for the first Yes album: that people should embrace the idea that we are all one.” –Guitar Player magazine, September 2006.
For those of you who do not know, Dr. David Hawkins is a medical doctor and spiritual teacher who has integrated over 50 years of psychiatric experience with every known spiritual tradition and quantum physics.
Using the clinical science of kinesiology (muscle testing), he has established a scientifically proven logarithmic Consciousness Scale of zero to 1000. On the evolutionary scale, bacteria calibrate at one, and Jesus, Buddha, and Krisha calibrate at 1000.
Levels of spiritual Truth can be assessed, using the Scale of Consciousness, for anything you can think of. People, books, food, animals, teachings, governments, art, architecture, and music.
The reason that Yes music has stood the test of time is because most of it calibrates in the 400’s; that is to say, it is excellent music with a high degree of integrity and positive energy.
Calibration level 500 is where the shift from the linear to the non-linear takes place; it is where love begins. From what Jon said on the Yes Symphonic Live DVD, and the liner notes on his Tour of the Universe DVD, it’s obvious that the message of Love is important to him.
Two Yes songs that stand out as calibrating above 500 are “Awaken” and “In the Presence Of.”
I had the pleasure of meeting Jon and talking to him after the concert.
He is a gracious man, and a lovely human being.
We are all grateful to have him here on this planet spreading the message of love and light through his music .
